Diana and Logan are history and art lovers, which is why Lincoln’s Cottage in Washington DC was the perfect location to celebrate their love. The ceremony was held on the porch of the Lincoln’s cottage surrounded by nature with beautiful flowers and a special chuppah hand-made by Logan´s sister. A Lincoln’s cottage wedding has a special and unique setting.
After the ceremony, guests had the opportunity to mingle inside Lincoln´s Cottage during the cocktail hour where staff from the venue was in place to answer questions. Diana and Logan offer a signature cocktail to make the moment even more memorable.
Afterwards, guests enjoyed a family style dinner on the beautiful grounds that the location offers, followed by heartwarming speeches by family members and lots of dancing. Just minutes after dinner everybody was already on the dance floor!
My favorite thing about Diana and Logan was that they were not concerned about protocols and taking thousands of pictures….they wanted to enjoy their family and friends who came from different places to share this special day with them.
The main colors were orange, green and white. The bridal bouquet was a loose nosegay with orange, pale greens and succulents. I think this color scheme is really gorgeous, and a bit unusual. What do you think?
To direct the guests to their tables, Diana and Logan hung up post cards from lines and the guests grabbed the card with their name and table number. These were post cards collected by Diana and Logan over several years. Isn’t this cute?
As a special touch from the couple they offered Frisbees as wedding favors which were something really special since they met playing Ultimate Frisbee <3.
I had so much fun at Diana and Logan´s wedding. Thanks so much for having me.
