LET'S FIND OUT
When it comes to your engagement pictures in Northern Virginia, preparation is vital. These will be photos that you can share on your social media, wedding website and can use to personalize many details for your wedding. You need to have beautiful images that will create memories that will last a lifetime.
When having your engagement pictures taken, there are eight areas that, when concentrated on, will make a massive difference in your photos. If you neglect them, your otherwise gorgeous pictures could come out in ways that you might not really like. I talk about those areas here, grab a cup of tea and a seat, and let’s talk about preparing for your engagement photoshoot.
Photoshop may be able to hide a multitude of sins, but wouldn’t you instead already be looking great to start with? For your engagement shoot, it’s usually best to go for professionals when it comes to your hair and makeup. It would be best if you also tried to stick to styles, and a look you know works for you. Before your engagement photoshoot might not be the best time for a drastic change when it comes to your look.
Location is essential when it comes to your engagement photo shoot. It’s the background you’re going to be seeing in that image for the rest of your life. Your photographer will most times suggest some lovely locations for you to take the pictures. If you have an area in mind, you can have your photos taken there too. Just make sure you speak to your photographer ahead of time about it. You may also have to ask if it’s okay for you to do so at some of these locations.
Make sure you get a manicure and pedicure before your photoshoot. Think of it as a way to further pamper and celebrate yourself. Professional nails are the best for your shoot. If you’re a minimalist, you can go for neatly shaped and clear nails. Soft and neutral colors also go well with photography. Whatever you go with, keep your outfits for the shoot in mind and make sure your nails compliment them.
Your engagement pictures should be a reflection of you both, just a little bit more polished. So, make sure you come with outfits that represent just that. Let the outfits you come with be something that you love, and you should also come with any unique pieces that you’ve gotten for your engagement shoot.
What ideas do you have for your engagement photoshoot? Yes, it is absolutely okay for you to share those with your photographer. In fact, I advise that you do. You could go on websites like Pinterest and find images that best communicate the ideas that you have. They’ll help you convey what you mean to your photographer better.
It’s not every day you get engaged. Show up at your engagement photo shoot and be determined to have loads of fun. Your pictures will reflect that and will come out looking amazing. The world is lucky to experience your union, and so are we.
I did some leg work for you and went to Amazon and pick my favorites, so here you a few options for your engagement pictures outfit:
Women’s halter floral long dress
Long Sleeve Pleated dress paired with boots
Casual midi skirt – Pair with a white shirt and a jean jacket. I think this one is my favorite
A little more casual option – A good jean with a cardigan never disappoints.
