Hyea Won Lee & Andrew Judaprawira tied the knot on September 7th of 2019 at East Lynn Farm. East Lynn Farm weddings are always so gorgeous, you can’t go wrong with this venue.
I met Hyea Won and Andrew while I was working a wedding at East Lynn Farm. They were doing the a tour and they got to see the magic behind the scenes.
Hyea Won’s parents and brother traveled from Korea for this special day, and she honored her heritage and traditions by wearing a traditional Korean wedding dress during the cocktail hour. Incorporating your traditions can make your wedding a truly unique event.
The beautiful bride got ready in the exquisitely decorated Farmhouse that East Lynn Farm has on the property. This is another reason to love East Lynn Farm Weddings.
Bride and groom first look is a great option when you want more time for pictures, the couple can have more breathing room during the cocktail and even enjoy part of it.
“A first look is a moment few hours before the ceremony where bride and groom see each other for the first time on the wedding day. It is usually pre-arranged with their wedding photographer in a private place away from family and friends to capture that moment just for them” taken from: https://www.weddingforward.com/first-look-wedding-photos/
This garden style hand-tied bridal bouquet with pink flowers, a hint of light blues and finished with beautiful greenery is so romantic and gorgeous! The pink flowers are the perfect mix of garden roses, tulips and ranunculuses.
The ceremony was so beautiful and heartful that watering eyes were all over the place. They also incorporated more of the Korean traditions.
Korean traditions use wooden wild geese as a symbol of harmony and structure. One goose is given to the groom during a special ceremony and he is expected to bow twice before presenting the goose to his future mother in law. Wild geese mate for life, so by giving the mother a goose, the groom is promising a life of love and care to the woman’s daughter.
In the picture above Andrew was giving to the mother of the bride the wild geese.
Light green linens, white cushions, style loose garlands and flowers hand-picked by the wedding party from the venue farm made the perfect place for their reception. I also love their favors, a small jar of honey with the couple initials and their wedding day.
The cake was an edible floral wedding cake with 4 tiers, roughed edges buttercream and decorated with locally grown organic dried flowers.
