Shadow Creek

Shadow Creek is in Purcellville, VA. They offer a very romantic, rustic chic equestrian barn, that makes the perfect place for a classic chic barn wedding. The venue has a capacity for up to 300 guests, offers indoor and outdoor ceremony options, 9 hours of rental space, outdoor entertainment options for your guests and for a small fee they will provide a beautifully groomed horse for cocktail hour (how cute is this). 

They also have a beautifully converted horse trailer available for rent that they call “The Hitched bar”.  It’s so pretty and a unique piece for your wedding.

Morais Vineyard and Winery

Stone Tower Winery

Airlie is a hotel and wedding venue located in Warrenton (my hometown😊), just 50 miles outside D.C., offering multiple options for event spaces. For weddings, the favorite ceremony spot is in the formal garden—it honestly looks like a fairytale movie there. The reception is at the pavilion which is very pretty with a timeless look. They also offer indoor options for small weddings and gatherings.  

The venue can hold up to 300 guests and with an all-inclusive policy their rental fee includes linens, chair rentals, glassware, and other “extras”.  The downside is that you can only use their caterer services. 

Blue Hill Farm

Located in Waterford, VA, Blue Hill Farm specializes in creating customized weddings that’s why they don’t offer packages. They customize it to every couple with options ranging from basic, one-day a la carte weddings for 10 people to comprehensive, multi-day events for up to 350 guests. For larger weddings up to 350 guests, they provide a wide array of elegant tents in one of their three field locations, this venue offers unparalleled flexibility and breathtaking views that are sure to leave a lasting impression.

Manor House and Ballroom wedding venues

Woodlands at Algokian

For those seeking a serene and natural setting, Woodlands at Algokian in Sterling, VA, ticks all the boxes. With space for up to 180 guests, this venue offers a picturesque pergola ceremony space and a reception area overlooking a wooded golf course. Plus, with full on-site catering, you can indulge in delicious cuisine without a worry in the world.

The rental includes 8 total hours, the main banquet room, catering/buffet room, bridal suite, banquet & catering tables, inside chairs (gold chiavari), and outside chairs (white folding) for ceremony use at the Pergola, dance floor.
