“East Lynn Farm”: a Local Rustic Barn Wedding Venue in Round Hill, VA
On April 26th 2015, East Lynn farm celebrated their open house and I wanted to share with you some pictures of the event. This is a local countryside sustainable green farm located one hour from DC and less than one hour from Winchester in Round Hill, VA. This is the perfect rustic barn wedding venue. They are a lamb and veggie farm and form part of the CSA (Community Supported Agriculture). This venue is for couples who care about not using chemicals, treating animals humanely, preserving the land and who are looking for a less conventional wedding.
The venue offers a barn complex with several barns: Two pre Civil War barns and a dairy barn with two distinctive areas: The bottom floor is an old milk parlor with authentic dairy stalls which is a great space for cocktails, long banquet tablets or a perfect natural ceremony space. The fully restored upper hayloft offers the perfect backdrop for a rustic chic reception. These unique and historical places offer a very special rustic environment and beautiful panoramic views.
In addition, “The Inn at East Lynn” adds to the perfection. This fully restored, historic farm house forms part of the farm and can be used by the Bride and Groom for the whole weekend allowing a complete wedding weekend experience.
During the open house, the first and second floor of the dairy barn featured different vendors with their services and products. For the ceremony location, you can see the interesting set up on the beautiful green grounds with a breath taking views of the mountains and our wooly friends. Plus, how unique is having your guests seated on hay bales? Isn’t that neat?!
