Farm Loudoun County Wedding: Lauren + Lou

Lauren and Lou got married at East Lynn Farm in the Spring (right before the beginning of the summer). East Lynn Farm is a sustainable farm located in Loudoun County, check out this venue if you are dreaming of the perfect Loudoun County Wedding.

The reason why Lauren and Lou got married at East Lynn Farm is very interesting. Lauren’s grandfather built the barn were the reception took place. Lauren’s grandparents moved from NY back in 1955 and with hard work and perseverance they established a Grade A dairy farm. With help of neighbors and friends they built the barn. Lauren (the bride) has so many memories as a child playing at the farm that she couldn’t imaging getting married somewhere else.

The bride got ready at the beautiful ELF Farm house and the groom gathered with his party at the house next to the barn. The bride and groom had a first look and then took wonderful pictures at ELF garden.

The ceremony was celebrated with the Pine Grove in the background and an iron arch beautifully decorated with a flower garland. After the ceremony, the celebration started with a cocktail hour in the Lower Level Dairy Barn. The bride and groom shared their favorite drinks with their guests by having signature drinks: Moscow mule and gin & tonic

After the cocktail hour, guests went to the upper level hayloft to enjoy the reception with dinner, dancing, toasts and more dancing 🙂 At the end of the night, the newlyweds had a bubble send off, so cute and a great alternative to a sparkler send off.

Lauren and Lou had the perfect wedding day and I’m happy I was able to be part of it.
